Federal prosecutors’ campaign against political corruption on both sides of the aisle in Albany peaked on Friday, as a jury convicted former Senate majority leader Dean Skelos and his son Adam of all charges in a four-year pay-to-play scheme.

Spurning defense claims that there was no quid pro quo in Adam Skelos being paid some $300,000 for no-show jobs and a rigged consulting contract, the jury ended the 30-year political career of Long Island Republican Dean Skelos.
