The mistrial in the criminal case against three Dewey & LeBoeuf executives will delay or complicate several related actions, including the trial against a junior manager at Dewey and a Securities and Exchange Commission suit against the defendants.

Acting Supreme Court Justice Robert Stolz on Monday declared a mistrial on 93 criminal counts against former chairman Steven Davis, former executive director Stephen DiCarmine and ex-chief financial officer Joel Sanders after jurors said they were hopelessly deadlocked. In two partial verdicts earlier in the month, the jurors acquitted the defendants of 58 other counts.
