Former chief judge Judith Kaye has invited two of her former colleagues on the state Court of Appeals to speak Wednesday at a meeting in Manhattan to promote interest among potential applicants for an upcoming opening on the court.
Retired judges Howard Levine and Robert Smith will speak about the court and the process of their own selections at the New York City Bar Association, 42 West 44th St., beginning at 5:30 p.m. City Bar President Debra Raskin will join the judges on the panel.
