A woman who had second thoughts three days after representing herself in a divorce settlement that gave her husband legal and residential custody of their children could not convince a judge to disturb the pact.

Nassau County Supreme Court Justice Leonard Steinman said the evidence showed the wife entered the settlement knowingly, voluntarily and without undue pressure. Moreover, he said, there was “nothing manifestly unfair on the face” of the stipulation, which set up a commonly used parenting schedule.
