An ex-partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed has been sentenced to jail and probation after pleading guilty to tax fraud. Jeff Galloway, 61, received a three-month jail sentence and five years of probation Wednesday from Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Ronald Zweibel.

In June, Galloway pleaded guilty to one count of third-degree criminal tax fraud, a class D felony. Under the terms of the plea deal, Galloway will resign from the bar and pay $600,000 in restitution.
