A judge told the Port Authority to elaborate on why it denied a man’s request for information about the agency’s 2011 toll hike.

The Port Authority rebuffed Yoel Weisshaus’ request because it involved “inter-agency or intra-agency advisory, consultive or deliberative records.” Weisshaus, representing himself, wanted “full disclosure of all the information and meetings” connected to the September 2011 increase. He filed an Article 78 petition in Brooklyn Supreme Court to challenge the November 2014 denial.
