A sanctions order that required Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel and its client to pay a portion of attorney fees and costs incurred by an adversary has been reversed by an appellate court.

The Appellate Division, First Department, found that Acting Supreme Court Justice Melvin Schweitzer’s ruling in January that Kramer Levin and its client failed to notify their adversary of a mistaken representation, “is not based on a fair interpretation of the evidence.”
