A federal judge has ordered the unsealing of the 1950 testimony of Soviet spy David Greenglass before the grand jury that indicted Julius and Ethel Rosenberg for espionage.

Southern District Judge Alvin Hellerstein said the historic importance of the testimony of the now-deceased Greenglass, the brother of Ethel Rosenberg, warranted releasing the testimony over the objections of members of the Greenglass family.
