A man whose widely covered murder conviction was depicted in a made-for-television movie could not convince a judge that his image had been wrongly used.

Christopher Porco, now serving a 50-year-to-life sentence for the 2004 axe murder of his father, a well-regarded Appellate Division, Third Department, clerk, and the attempted murder of his mother, sued Lifetime Entertainment Services over its movie, “Romeo Killer: The Christopher Porco Story.”
