• NYSARC Inc., a nonprofit supporting individuals with intellectual and other developmental disabilities and their families, has promoted Kathryn Jerian to general counsel, effective April 1. Jerian succeeds Paul Kietzman. NYSARC also promoted Tania Seaburg to chief policy and operations officer.
• Harris Beach has added Craig Spierer as a partner in Uniondale focusing on intellectual property, corporate transactions and food, drug and cosmetic law. Spierer was a named partner, along with Michael DiMaggio, of the firm DiMaggio Spierer PLLC. DiMaggio has taken a position as in-house counsel at Nutrabolt.
