Mineola real estate lawyer Bill Tsoumpelis was arrested Thursday on charges he stole more than $20,000 in escrow funds belonging to a Queens couple.

Tsoumpelis, 48, was arrested by investigators from the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office and charged with third-degree grand larceny, a class D felony. If convicted, he faces from 2 1/3 to 7 years in prison.
