A former Southold town justice clerk who stole more than $231,000 in fines and bail money from court coffers has been sentenced to jail and probation.
From 2009 to 2014, Christine Stulsky, then a senior justice court clerk, stole money she was tasked with depositing and managing. She made $62,703 at the time of her arrest last year and subsequently resigned.
