The St. John’s University School of Law and the University at Buffalo Law School have started admitting high-performing students from affiliated undergraduate programs without requiring that they take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT).

The school’s Red Storm Scholars Special Admission Program has admitted seven students without the LSAT to begin law school classes this fall, and five of them have put down deposits to attend, said Robert Harrison, associate dean for admissions and student financial services at St. John’s.
