Nassau County prosecutors say a lawsuit alleging they eavesdrop on attorney-inmate calls was “speculative and unproven” and should be rejected.
The Nassau County District Attorney’s office asked Nassau Supreme Court Justice Robert Bruno (See Profile) earlier this week to dismiss an Article 78 petition filed by a criminal defense firm arguing prosecutors were “secretly reviewing the contents of privileged communications” during recorded jail calls.
