The Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office has hired 20 new assistant district attorneys from the law school graduating class of 2014. They were sworn in last week.
In Brooklyn, new district attorneys have traditionally been sworn in each February, and 42 were hired this past February. This fall’s class is the first to start under a new hiring schedule set by District Attorney Kenneth Thompson to begin each September, bringing the total number of ADAs to 466.
