A lawsuit has been filed to try to block Airbnb from revealing to state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman’s office the identities of 21 “hosts” who rent out their New York homes or apartments through the Internet accommodations exchange.
An “informal, unincorporated association” calling itself New Yorkers Making Ends Meet In The Sharing Economy filed suit Monday in Manhattan Supreme Court on behalf of 18 “John Doe” and three “Jane Doe” plaintiffs.
