A judge is refusing to push back the August trial date in a case where terrorism victims are suing a Jordanian bank for allegedly offering financial assistance to Hamas leadership.
Eastern District Judge Brian Cogan (See Profile) said Monday that jury selection would begin Aug. 11 in Linde v. Arab Bank, 04-cv-2799, a case where victims and their families assert Arab Bank offered material assistance to the organization—a claim the bank denies.
