The New York State Bar Association’s president will have more time to pursue what he has said are promising negotiations with court administrators over mandatory disclosure of pro bono activities.
The state bar’s House of Delegates granted President Glenn Lau-Kee’s request at its annual summer gathering in Cooperstown Saturday to delay a resolution calling for repeal of Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman’s pro bono reporting requirement in May 2013.
