• Cozen O’Connor has added Linda Riefberg as a member in its commercial litigation practice. She was formerly special counsel with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson.

Outsourcing firm EXL appointed Nancy Saltzman as general counsel and company secretary. Saltzman will head the legal department globally for EXL and assume responsibility for regulatory reporting, contracts and intellectual property matters. She joins EXL from Westcon Group Inc.

Joseph Boryshansky has rejoined Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld as a partner in its white collar defense and government investigations practice. Boryshansky returns to the firm after six years at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he worked as a senior trial counsel in the agency’s Enforcement Division.

• Sills Cummis & Gross has added Brian Haskel as a member in its corporate practice. He was a partner at Tannenbaum Helpern Syracuse & Hirschtritt.

• Golenbock Eiseman Assor Bell & Peskoe has added Jane Waldman as of counsel in its real estate practice. Waldman was senior counsel at Seyfarth Shaw.

• Cohen & Gresser has added Nicholas Kaiser as counsel in its corporate group. Kaiser was a partner at Seyfarth Shaw.

• Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has added Michael “Ben” Garcia in its global securities practice group as special counsel. He joins from Herbert Smith Freehills.

• Fordham Law School has appointed Nestor Davidson as associate dean for academic affairs. His term begins in July. Davidson is a professor at the law school and the director of the Fordham Urban Law Center. He succeeds Sheila Foster, who completes her term at the end of the academic year and will return to regular service on the Fordham Law faculty.

• Mishcon de Reya New York has promoted Valerie Tocci to partner. She focuses on matrimonial and family law.

• Vandenberg & Feliu has added Jonathan Evan Goldberg as a partner. Goldberg previously practiced at Dentons.
