After 30 years, Eleanor Alter will step down from the board of trustees of the Lawyers’ Fund for Client Protection. Alter’s 10th three-year term on the board expired on Nov. 30, and she decided not to serve again, according to fund officials.
Former Court of Appeals chief clerk Stuart Cohen has been selected to take her seat on the board.
