ALBANY – As the Albany County district attorney and local judge remain locked in battle over whether the prosecutor can drop a case against four protestors, a defense attorney suggests that those with the most at stake—the defendants—are lost in the shuffle.
Mark Mishler, an attorney in Albany whose clients remain in legal limbo while District Attorney P. David Soares and City Court Judge William Carter (See Profile) duke it out in court, reminded an appellate panel Friday in the backdrop of the seemingly endless scuffle are four men who would very much like to get on with their lives.
