The state Women’s Bar Association has endorsed Proposition Six, the proposed constitutional amendment on the Nov. 5 ballot that would allow some state judges to remain on the bench until age 80.

“Experienced, competent judges are one of the Court’s most valuable assets,” said the group’s president, Donna Frosco of Keane & Beane in White Plains. “Forced judicial retirements only exacerbate the backlog of cases keeping litigants from having their days in courts.”
