Allison London says that she has always been drawn to good causes. In elementary school, for example, she successfully challenged the “cruel and unusual punishment” of disciplining students by forcing them to stand against the outside wall during recess. In high school, she organized a student walkout to protest school policy about permitting students to leave school grounds during free periods.

In fact, she says that her desire “to give a voice to those who have none” was one of the reasons she became a lawyer. Now, however, her bent toward advocacy has become very personal.
