A state appeals panel has hit a Manhattan attorney with a two-year suspension for filing a series of “meritless” lawsuits in a decade-long “campaign of harassment” against his ex-wife, her brother and sister, her attorneys and his own son.
The Appellate Division, First Department panel’s Oct. 9 order in Matter of Davey, M-4856, adopted the recommendation of the Departmental Disciplinary Committee in imposing the suspension against Peter F. Davey. Justices Angela Mazzarelli (See Profile), Richard Andrias (See Profile), Karla Moskowitz (See Profile), Rosalyn Richter (See Profile) and Sallie Manzanet-Daniels (See Profile) sat on the panel.
