A lawsuit filed by eight unions representing current and retired state court employees who argue that their health insurance premiums were illegally increased in 2011 may go forward, a federal judge has ruled.
Northern District Judge Mae D’Agostino (See Profile), said Brown v. State of New York, 1:13-cv-00645, may proceed against Governor Andrew Cuomo, Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman, Budget Director Robert Megna and others acting in their official capacities.
