A disbarred Long Island attorney has pleaded guilty to swindling real estate clients of more than $4.3 million.
In a press release announcing the plea, the Nassau County District Attorney's office said James Kalpakis, suspended in 2005 and disbarred in 2009, stole more than $4.3 million from five clients between September 2008 and January 2011.
