An article that appeared on June 21, "DLA Pro Bono Team Teaches Legal Skills to Tanzanian Law Students," contained several misstatements which are clarified below.

The Law School of Tanzania, which has about 400 students, is unique among schools in the country. It offers a mandatory, one-year training program for law school graduates hoping to become licensed practitioners. Established in 2007, it is the only school to offer such a program in a country of more than 46 million people.
