ALBANY – Peter Torncello, the chief attorney for the Committee on Professional Standards for the Appellate Division, Third Department, has resigned along with two associate counsels, Steven Zayas and Elizabeth Devane.
David Bookstaver, a spokesman for the Unified Court System, confirmed the resignations on Tuesday but declined to provide details.
