More than two years after a federal appellate court strongly suggested that the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office examine whether a man was wrongfully convicted in a notorious 1988 child sex abuse case, the review could be completed by the end of the month, according to prosecutors.

A prosecutor told a judge on Tuesday that "barring unforeseeable new and material evidence," he expected the report on the case of Jesse Friedman to be released by June 28.
