Abraham George, a candidate for Brooklyn district attorney, filed a lawsuit yesterday seeking to delay the upcoming airing of a CBS TV reality series depicting how cases are built and prosecuted in the office of incumbent Charles Hynes. George argued in court papers filed in Manhattan Supreme Court that the series, "Brooklyn D.A. is a reality television series, not news or a documentary…Hynes, and his defendant political committee, have coordinated and prearranged his participation, and that of his office, with CBS in a manner and degree that makes Brooklyn D.A. a campaign contribution by CBS."
