An appeals court last week declined to accept a man’s claim that his marriage was invalid—and so was the antenuptial agreement he made with his wife three days later—because the ceremony was performed by a minister of the Universal Life Church. An Appellate Division, Third Department, panel unanimously reversed a Supreme Court ruling in Oswald v. Oswald, 515519, that voided the 2005 marriage between Henry and Victoria Oswald.
