Audiences will have to wait just a little longer to watch a six-part series documenting how cases are built and tried inside the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office. CBS’ upcoming "Brooklyn DA" was originally scheduled to premier on May 21 at 10 p.m., but the network has pushed back the debut by one week, to May 28 at 10 p.m.

CBS News spokesman Richard Huff declined to elaborate on reasons for the postponement. "Brooklyn DA," according to a CBS press release, offers "a tough, candid look at the men and women in one of the largest district attorney’s offices in the country." The show has been denounced by two candidates challenging District Attorney Charles Hynes in this year’s Democratic primary.
