Manatt, Phelps & Phillips has brought on three litigation partners from K&L Gates. Matt Kanny, chair of Manatt’s litigation division, said in a statement that the trio of Michael Gordon, Eli Mattioli and Andrew Morrison "add to the growing group of litigators in Manatt’s New York office." Manatt Phelps, a 345-lawyer firm headquartered in Los Angeles, has about 66 lawyers in New York.

Gordon focuses on complex commercial disputes in litigation and arbitration. Mattioli represents clients in matters involving domestic and foreign investments, sales transactions, corporate and partnership matters, mergers and acquisitions and investment banking. Morrison focuses on securities fraud claims, fiduciary duty claims, complex commercial disputes and financial services.
