The state Commission on Judicial Nomination was poised to deliver to Governor Andrew Cuomo on Saturday Dec. 1 the names of three to seven candidates from which Cuomo must fill a vacancy on the Court of Appeals.

Cuomo’s selection would succeed Judge Carmen Beauchamp Ciparick who has reached the age of 70 and must retire on Dec. 31. Information about the the potential nominees will be posted at nylj.com as soon as it becomes available.
