• John Dunne, the former state senator who is now senior counsel to Whiteman, Osterman & Hanna in Albany, recently received the Champion Award from The Legal Project, an Albany organization providing free civil legal services to the working poor. Also honored at the group’s annual reception were attorneys Casey Copps DiPaola, Amy Knussman, Abraham Bolgatz and Lauren Hunt; the Albany Law School Pro Bono Society; and the law firm of Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, among others.

• Seth Stein, a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff focusing on not-for-profit law, will be honored by the National Foundation for Human Potential and Family Residences and Essential Enterprises at its 35th annual Celebration of Life Gala on Nov. 30 for his dedication and service to the organizations, which serve the disabled.
