The Historical Society of the Courts of the State of New York presented its 2011 Stephen R. Kaye Lecture on Wednesday at the New York City Bar. This year’s lecture, entitled “Lincoln, the Civil War and Freedom of the Press: New York Divided,” was given by Harold Holzer, chair of the Abraham Lincoln Foundation.
