The federal judge handling litigation stemming from a 2009 plane crash in Buffalo has directed Continental Airlines to disclose internal documents on its relationship to four of the regional carriers it uses, not just Colgan Air Inc., which it used on the “Continental Connection” flight that crashed into a house.

Western District Chief Judge William M. Skretny rejected Continental’s argument that the discovery demand is unduly burdensome and not relevant to the pending litigation in ordering the company to produce records related to the four Continental Connection carriers: Gulfstream International Airlines, Cape Air, CommutAir and Colgan.
