A Manhattan judge has dismissed most of divorce lawyer Norman M. Sheresky’s $26 million lawsuit against his former partners at Sheresky Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, whom he accused of reneging on promises to pay his insurance and mortgage after he decided to retire.

Supreme Court Justice Eileen Bransten’s ruling in Sheresky v. Sheresky Aronson Mayefsky & Sloan, 150178/10, handed down Monday, allows only one of the five claims asserted by Mr. Sheresky to go forward.
