The Office of Court Administration today convenes a second annual round of hearings where select witnesses will give testimony on why funding for civil legal services should be maintained or increased in advance of the Judiciary’s presentation of its 2012-13 budget. The court system will make its budget presentation by Dec. 1.
Among those scheduled to appear today at the Westchester County Courthouse in White Plains are Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore and Acting Supreme Court Justices Anthony A. Scarpino Jr., Lori Currier Woods and Janet C. Malone (NYLJ, Sept. 15). The hearing begins at 10 a.m. and will be webcast at www.nycourts.gov.
