• Arthur J. Fried has joined Epstein Becker Green as a member in the health care and life sciences practice. Mr. Fried, who advises hospitals and other types of providers on health system development, physician integration, health care reform, governance, fraud and abuse and regulatory compliance, among other things, was vice president, legal and regulatory affairs at North Shore LIJ Health System.
• Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz has added Toby Butterfield as a partner in the litigation and intellectual property groups. Mr. Butterfield, who has experience litigating and counseling on copyright, trademark, defamation, digital media, and commercial matters, was a partner at Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard.
