A Long Island woman acquitted at a second trial of sexually abusing her children must turn over sealed records so that her former attorney can defend himself against a malpractice suit she has filed, a state judge has ruled.

Supreme Court Justice Anthony L. Parga (See Profile) in Nassau County ordered Joetta Dawson to produce trial transcripts and other court papers for the discovery in her case against defense attorney Ronald Schoenberg, holding that any confidentiality afforded by the sealing had been waived in her affirmative act of bringing the civil action where the sealed information was necessary for adjudication.
