We lost a hard working and dedicated colleague and many of us lost a good friend with the death of Supreme Court Justice Robert A. Ross. Bob, at the time of his death was supervising judge of the Matrimonial and Integrated Domestic Parts in Nassau County. He gave much to the advancement of the practice of Family Law, an often byzantine and complex set of laws that makes divorce in New York nightmarish at times. Bob understood this and tried to inject humanity and common sense into the process.
