Comverse Technology Inc., the world’s largest maker of voice-mail software, and its former chief executive officer Jacob “Kobi” Alexander, have agreed to pay $225 million to settle a securities class action over backdated stock options. The 56-page agreement, which was filed in Brooklyn federal district court on Friday, must be approved by Eastern District Judge Nicholas Garaufis.
