An erroneous jury charge has led a federal appeals court to reverse the conviction of a man caught attempting to entice what he thought was a teenage girl into having sex. A divided U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit said Southern District Judge Richard Owen made a "significant error" in the jury charge before deliberations that led to the conviction.
