JetBlue Airways is accused of discrimination after unlawfully kicking a group of Orthodox Jewish individuals off of a flight after they requested religious accommodations.

The airliner was hit with a Feb. 27 civil rights suit in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, filed by Risman & Risman and Brustein Law, on behalf of three members of the Jewish faith who allege that they were kicked off a flight after one of them attempted to switch seats when sitting next to a woman that was not his wife, in accordance with his religious beliefs.
