U.S. District Judge Lorna Schofield of the Southern District of New York has denied a motion for class certification in a lawsuit against former President Donald Trump and the Trump Corporation, rejecting arguments from plaintiffs who said they decided to enroll in the multi-level marketing company ACN because Trump endorsed it.

The plaintiffs, represented by Emery Celli Abady Brinckerhoff Ward & Maazel and Kaplan Hecker & Fink, moved for class certification in March, arguing that Schofield should certify a nationwide class and three more classes for people with claims in California, Pennsylvania, and Maryland.
