U.S. Attorney Breon Peace of the Eastern District of New York recently announced that Amy Busa, who previously served as his office’s chief of intake and deputy chief of general crimes, will now lead the office’s appellate work as chief of criminal appeals.

Busa replaces former Chief of Criminal Appeals David James, who is moving into a new role as senior appellate counsel. The appointments became effective Sept. 29.
