Music promoter Upper Echelon and its coplaintiffs contracted with New York’s agriculture agency to stage a concert by hip-hop performer Young Thug at the New York State Fairgrounds in 2021. They also contracted for the event’s advertising and ticketing.

Plaintiffs sold only 600 tickets. They sued under 42 USC §§1983, 1985, and 1986, and claimed contract breach and tortious interference with business relations.
