The longtime general counsel to New York City’s Department of Probation is headed to the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office as a new Pathways to Public Safety division chief, District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced in an email to staff.
Wayne McKenzie is scheduled to officially start on May 30 as head of the division, which Bragg created in March 2022 to bolster the use of alternatives to incarceration.
