A Greenville, New York, town justice was recommended for censure Tuesday, with the state Commission on Judicial Conduct observing that his salary was ordered stopped for a month in 2021 because he failed to report receipt of court money to the New York comptroller in a timely manner.

The commission also said Town Justice Alois W. Kraker made a series of poor judgment calls while he presided over small-claims cases in 2018.
